Sioux Falls, SD (January 7, 2022) – C & B is proud to recently have wrapped up a nearly 6-week sweepstakes thru our partnership with Folds of Honor. The mission of the sweepstakes was to raise funds for Folds of Honor, an organization that supports educational scholarships for families of fallen and severely wounded members of our American military.
Folds of Honor randomly selected thirteen winners who took home a new piece of John Deere equipment ranging from a zero-turn mower to a fully equipped toolbox. These donated prizes helped generate over $75,000 to go towards this noble cause.
Team members of C & B had an internal competition to drive awareness for Folds of Honor. Some stores had radio ads running and some participated in activities with their local veteran groups. Each store could take a different approach to promote the cause. The stores came together to understand the `why’ behind the project.
“C & B was attracted to Folds of Honor because it gives back to those who are willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom: our service men and women. We recognize that supporting educational scholarships is just the tip of how we can give back to those who are willing to put it all on the line for our great country,” shared the committee who worked alongside Folds of Honor.
