John Deere 708C
If you’re looking for a corn head that’s fast-moving, hard-working and conveniently narrow, the John Deere 708C might be the right solution for you. These speedy machines are designed to be able to navigate narrow roads and a variety of terrain. The knife stalk rolls are great for improving stalk control, and the gathering chains help to increase life. This corn head comes equipped with AutoTrac RowSense, which makes the process more efficient and keeps the operator from feeling fatigued at the end of the day. Plus, the single-point latching system makes attaching the corn head a breeze.
John Deere 712C
If you need to upgrade to something a little bit bigger, you might be interested in the John Deere 712C corn head. This corn head has 12 rows instead of 8. Like the 708C, it offers improved stalk control, AutoTrac RowSense, and a convenient single-point latching system. It also offers Stubble lights to enhance your visibility at night. When you put this corn head to work, you can keep going even after the sun goes down. The 712C provides uniform sizing of the corn stalks to speed decomposition and make sure the soil is protected from wind and water. The StalkMaster can be equipped with either intermeshing or opposed knife stalk rolls, so it’s adaptable to your needs.
John Deere 712FC
If you’re hoping to find something like the 712C that can fold up for transport, you’re in luck! Here at C & B Operations, we also carry the John Deere 712FC folding corn head. This 12-row model eliminates the need for a header transport trailer, which can significantly bring down the cost of your harvesting equipment collection. Each of the outer three rows of the 712C folds up hydraulically, and it can be done right from the cab in seconds. That makes it easy to move the equipment between fields or into storage. It also saves a lot of time and effort normally spent on mounting the header to a trailer, detaching and re-attaching. Depending on what you need, this corn head can be used with or without StalkMaster.
